Chris Wong, CFA has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Chris started their career at Unum in 1987, where they held various roles including Group Insurance & Employee Benefits Wholesaler in Los Angeles, Director of Pacific Rim Development in Tokyo, and Director of Products & Markets in Latin America. In 1999, they joined Principal Financial Group as a Senior Pension Representative before moving to Janus Henderson Investors U.S. in 2001, where they currently serve as the Vice-President & Director of the Financial Institutions Group.

Chris Wong, CFA has a well-rounded education history. Chris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 1983 to 1987. Following that, they pursued an MBA at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, attending from 1988 to 1990. In 1997 and 1998, they further expanded their language skills by studying Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Buenos Aires. Additionally, in 1986, Chris Wong engaged in cultural and language studies at National Taiwan University.

To further enhance their professional qualifications, Chris Wong obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, which they pursued from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they earned a number of certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), including Series 3, 7, 24, and 63, in January 1999.
