George P. Maris

George P. Maris is the Co-Head of Equities, Americas & Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson. George has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry.

George started their career at Putnam Investments in 1999 as a Portfolio Manager. In 2004, they joined Columbia Management Group as a Senior Portfolio Manager. George stayed with Columbia for four years before moving to Northern Trust Global Investments in 2008. At Northern Trust, George was a Senior Portfolio Manager for three years.

In 2011, George joined Janus Henderson, where they are responsible for managing portfolios and co-leading the equities team in the Americas. George has been widely recognized for their expertise in the financial industry, and they are a frequently invited speaker at industry conferences.

George P. Maris has a MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a JD from University of Illinois College of Law, and a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College.
