Tomohito Shibata

Tomohito Shibata is currently a Partner at Japan Energy Capital investing in leading climate-tech companies to accelerate decarbonization in Japan. Tomohito also serves as an Executive Officer at ENECHANGE（エネチェンジ）株式会社, leading the VC investment division and overseeing investment activities. Prior to their current roles, Tomohito held various positions at Bain & Company and worked as a Global Data Analyst Intern at Bloomberg LP. Tomohito holds a Bachelor of Arts & Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Science in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from UCL, and has completed the Private Equity and Venture Capital program at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
