Emiko Toriyama is an experienced professional in international cooperation and interpretation, currently serving as a simultaneous interpreter for WorldSkills International since July 2022. With a strong background in coordinating international exchanges through roles at the Japan International Cooperation Center and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Emiko has engaged in various projects funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, Emiko has held positions as an executive officer at Mikawa Star and as a freelance interpreter for multiple companies, contributing to significant projects including those at Tata Consultancy Services and Toppan Photomask. Emiko's educational foundation includes a degree in German Language and Literature from Nanzan University and further studies in interpretation at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
