Andrew Wells is an experienced scientist with a strong background in bioengineering and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist at Jasper Therapeutics since July 2021, Andrew developed programs for vivarium and animal use and acted as the IACUC Administrator. Prior experience includes a position as Research Associate III at Rice University, where responsibilities included lab management and interdepartmental liaison activities. Andrew's research background also encompasses work at The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on projects related to chronic stimulation interfaces, vagus nerve stimulation, and software development for laboratory instruments. Andrew holds a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas.
