Damiano Minervini has a diverse work experience in various industries. Damiano began their career as a Structural Engineer at MINARDI Formula 1 Team from May 2000 to April 2001. Damiano then worked as a Development Engineer at GETRAG from May 2001 to February 2005.

In January 2007, Damiano joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they held several roles. Damiano was a Product Planner for the Lancia Brand from January 2007 to June 2011, during which they contributed to the launch of the Lancia Ypsilon and supported the integration of the Lancia and Chrysler brands in Europe. Damiano then became a Product Portfolio Planner Senior, focusing on the Alfa Romeo and Lancia brands, from July 2011 to August 2013. Damiano'sresponsibilities included analyzing the competitive environment, market trends, and customer needs to develop new product briefings and marketing strategies. Damiano also managed a team of three people during this role.

From September 2013 to May 2014, they served as the Global Product Portfolio Management (Advanced Planning) for EMEA at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. In this position, Damiano coordinated the development of a mid and long-term Product Plan across the different Fiat-Chrysler regions, while maximizing manufacturing and platform synergies. Damiano then became the Project Manager of the "2020 Project" from June 2014 to February 2016.

Since March 2016, Damiano has been working at JATO Dynamics, where they initially served as a Managing Consultant for Europe. In this role, they managed the Analysis and Reporting service in Europe, focusing on developing customized business intelligence solutions for clients in the automotive industry. Damiano led a team of 16 people across eight European countries. Damiano then transitioned to the role of Head of Analytics Enablement in March 2023, where they continue to support clients in improving their competitive advantage through tailored solutions. Damiano was also recognized with the 'Integrity' core value EMEA award in 2019.

Damiano Minervini pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari between the years 1991 and 1997. Following this, they enrolled at MIP Politecnico di Milano in 2005 and completed a Master's in Business Administration in 2006.
