J.P. Dube has a strong background in the oil and gas industry. J.P. is currently working as the Vice President - Geoscience at Javelin Energy Partners, LLC since June 2021. Prior to that, they spent 13 years at Chesapeake Energy in various roles including Geoscience Manager - South Texas, Manager Geoscience - Mid-Continent, Manager Geoscience Technology, Exploration Manager - Gulf Coast, Coordinator - Regional Studies, and Senior Geologist. During their time at Chesapeake Energy, they had responsibilities in regions such as Appalachia, Gulf Coast, Rockies, and Mid-Continent. Before joining Chesapeake Energy, J.P. Dube was a Senior Geologist at Anadarko Petroleum from 2001 to 2007. J.P. started their career as a Cartographer at NRCS from 1996 to 1999.
J.P. Dube completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Denison University between 1995 and 1999. Following this, Dube pursued a Master of Science degree in Geology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2000 to 2001.
