Mason Tucker

Mason Tucker has had a diverse range of work experience in the drilling engineering field. Mason most recently worked as a Senior Drilling Engineer at Javelin Energy Partners, a Crescent Energy Company, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Aethon Energy from December 2021 to March 2022.

From 2016 to 2021, Mason worked at Vine Energy Inc. where they progressively took on more responsibility. Starting as a Contract Drilling Engineering Technician in December 2016, they then became a Contract Field Drilling Engineer from April 2017 to January 2018. Mason was promoted to Drilling Engineer in January 2018 and eventually became a Senior Drilling Engineer from April 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining Vine Energy Inc., Mason worked at BHP Billiton Petroleum as a Graduate Drilling Engineer from July 2015 to September 2016. In this role, they served as an Assistant Drillsite Supervisor and Operations Engineer, splitting their time between field operations and the Houston office.

Mason's career began at Murex Petroleum Corporation where they worked as a Drilling Engineering Intern during the summer of 2014. Mason'sresponsibilities included designing injection wells, writing drilling programs, and estimating AFE costs. Mason later acted as an Assistant Drillsite Manager on a horizontal Three Forks well.

In 2013, Mason interned at Leam Drilling Systems LLC as a Directional Drilling Intern, focusing on drilling and steering directional wells and optimizing bit and tool life.

Mason'sfirst experience in the industry was at Hercules Offshore in 2012, where they worked as a Roustabout in the Gulf of Mexico. Mason'sresponsibilities included rig maintenance, mud monitoring, and occasionally working on the rig floor as a floorhand.

In 2011, Mason interned at Leam Drilling Systems LLC as an MWD Intern. Mason gained experience in shipping/receiving, MWD parts/tools maintenance, well planning, and eventually worked as an MWD Field Engineer in the Anadarko Basin.

Overall, Mason Tucker has a strong background in drilling engineering with experience in various roles and responsibilities.

Mason Tucker attended Texas A&M University from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Petroleum Engineering.
