Thomas Tran has a diverse work experience in the field of surveying and geomatics. Thomas started their career in 2015 as a Land Survey Technician at Effigis Geo-Solutions Inc, where they worked until September 2015. Following that, they joined Monteith & Sutherland as a Geomatics Technician from September 2015 to May 2017. Later, Thomas worked at Crosslinx Transit Solutions as a SEM Mining Surveyor from May 2017 to September 2019, where they were involved in the Eglinton Crosstown project. Currently, Thomas is employed as a Party Chief Surveyor at Jay Dee Contractors Inc, where they are part of the Don River and Central Waterfront Weather Flow System project.

From 2008 to 2012, Thomas Tran attended Ryerson University and obtained a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning degree. Thomas'sfield of study focused on City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning.
