Aidan O'Connor

Aidan O'Connor is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, currently serving as Senior Director, External Manufacturing (MS&T) and Head of Process Engineering and Technical Services at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since May 2021. Prior to this role, Aidan held various leadership positions at Sanofi from September 2015 to May 2021, including Associate Director Product Portfolio & Operations (MSAT) and Acting Head of MSAT. Previous experience also includes Senior Project Manager at Stryker and Operations Manager at Alza Ireland Ltd (Johnson & Johnson). Aidan's career began at Boston Scientific as a Product Development Engineer. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Edinburgh Business School (2023-2025), an MSc in Management of Operations from Dublin City University (2010-2012), and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick (1996-2000).
