Joost Heijstek

Joost Heijstek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Key Account Manager at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since January 2022, Joost also held the role of Sales & Marketing Manager focusing on neuroscience, contributing to the preparation and implementation of target strategies for the launch of an innovative orphan drug. Prior to this, Joost worked as a Key Account Manager at Bioprojet Benelux SA and InnSense. Joost's career began at GSK, where responsibilities included Therapy Lead for Respiratory and Rayon Manager for Respiratory from January 2008 to March 2019. Educational qualifications include a Propedeuse in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam and studies in Marketing Management KBK, complemented by a background from Haagland Hotel Management School and Rotterdamse Avond Scholengemeenschap.
