Selena Yuan

Selena Yuan has a diverse work experience in talent development and management. Selena is currently working as the Global Head of Talent Development at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where they formulate and executes talent strategies to support the company's transformation. Previously, Selena worked for Gilead Sciences as the Director of Global Talent Management, where they focused on high potential identification and development, leadership assessment, and succession planning. Selena also held roles at Visa, Korn Ferry, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Right Management, Lightspeed Research, and the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they gained experience in talent and organization development, leadership consulting, employee engagement, and teaching management and HR courses. Earlier in their career, Selena worked at New Fantex Technology as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for business development and technology localization projects. In addition, they are currently a member of the Board of Directors and Internal Affairs Committee Chair at SVLC (Silicon Valley Leadership Community).

Selena Yuan (She/Her) has an extensive education history. Selena obtained a Ph.D. in Business Administration, specializing in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, from the University of Illinois Chicago. This degree was completed from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, Selena earned a Master of Business Education degree in Business Administration and Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2002. Their undergraduate degree, a B.A. in English Literature, was earned from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their academic achievements, Selena has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they received a Prosci Change Management Certificate from Prosci. In 2013, they obtained an ROI certification from ROI Institute, Inc. In 2010, Selena gained a Hogan Assessment Certification from Hogan Assessments. These certifications enhance their expertise and skills in various areas related to business and organizational management.
