Suzette Girgis

Suzette Girgis has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Suzette currently holds the position of Vice President and Head of Global Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as the Senior Director and Head of Clinical Pharmacology for Hematologic Malignancies. Before that, they were an Associate Director at Bristol Myers Squibb and an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck, specializing in Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics. Suzette'sexperience spans over two decades, with a focus on clinical pharmacology and discovery medicine.

Suzette Girgis has a strong educational background in the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. Suzette began their educational journey at Cairo University, where they earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from 1987 to 1992. Suzette then pursued further studies at the University of Rhode Island, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 1995 to 1997. Continuing their academic pursuits at the University of Rhode Island, they successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics from 1995 to 1999. Suzette Girgis's education has equipped their with a solid foundation and expertise in the pharmaceutical field.
