What We're Looking For:

We seek a commercially focused part-time HR Manager/People & Culture Manager to champion our values-based approach to people, culture, and development. As a dynamic, growing business with exciting clients and ambitious plans, we aim to attract, retain, and nurture top talent, ensuring a happy, well-supported workforce capable of delivering their best work.

What will my day look like:

The role entails spearheading various HR initiatives, including developing career pathways, embedding organisational values, enhancing employee engagement, and facilitating people management training. The ideal candidate will take ownership of these areas while collaborating with staff and founders to devise tailored solutions. Additionally, you will work closely with our HR Manager in India, fostering cross-organisational projects and ensuring alignment in HR strategies and practices across locations.

Key skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of generalist HR experience at a senior level in small or medium-sized organisations.

  • Proven track record in developing, implementing, and embedding people-focused strategies aligned with organisational goals.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with the team, supporting their career paths and goals while fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Proficiency in recruitment, retention, professional development, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

  • Confident in providing HR direction and advice to line managers.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong administrative, organisational, and prioritisation skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.

  • Natural leadership qualities with a high degree of attention to detail.

Nice to have:

  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD).

  • Experience in a technical/technology/digital agency environment.

  • Familiarity with the Skills for the Information Age (SFIA) development framework.
