Steve Cox has a diverse work experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Steve started their career as a TV buyer at The Media Business Group in 1986, and later worked as a media planner at GGT. In 1992, they joined the Radio Advertising Bureau as the Head of Agency Development, where they stayed until 2000. Steve then moved to Viacom as the Head of Planning and Insight until 2004. From 2001 to 2006, they worked at Viacom Outdoor as a Strategic Planning Director. In 2006, they joined CBS Outdoor in the same role. In 2008, they became the Marketing Director at Titan Outdoor, where they built a team and created sales materials for rail and mall advertising. Steve then joined JCDecaux in 2010 as the Marketing Director (Airport), responsible for promoting advertising benefits in airports. In 2019, they were promoted to Director of Marketing, overseeing marketing efforts across airports, rail, retail, and roadside advertising locations.
Steve Cox attended Imperial College London from 1981 to 1984, where they studied Electrical Engineering.
