Chris Copley

Chris is a registered Professional Mechanical Technologist with an exceptional track record in all phases of project development, including definition, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Prior to leading the JDS Construction Division, Chris successfully led the construction of Canada’s two newest gold mines as Project Manager: Victoria Gold’s Eagle Mine in Yukon and PureGold’s Madsen Mine in Ontario, both on-budget and on-schedule. Chris has been with JDS for 10 years and was also part of the management team that delivered the $1B Gahcho Kue Project for DeBeers in 2016. Chris has been involved in the development and implementation of over $6B of capital cost estimates across over 20+ mining properties of varying sizes, jurisdictions, and deposit types.
