Keisha-Gaye Anderson Mfa

Keisha-Gaye Anderson, MFA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Keisha-Gaye currently serves as the Vice President of Communications at The Jed Foundation (JED), where they manage a team and oversees various aspects of branding, public relations, social media, email marketing, and website development. Prior to their current role, they worked as an author and a guest speaker/presenter for various companies.

Before that, Keisha-Gaye was employed by Brooklyn College as the Director of News and Information. In this role, they were responsible for creating and managing public relations campaigns to raise the visibility of the college's achievements. Keisha-Gaye also served as the editor-in-chief of the alumni magazine and managed a team of editors, writers, videographers, photographers, and support staff.

Keisha-Gaye also has experience working as an Adjunct English Instructor for The City University of New York and as an Associate Director of Media Relations and Publications at Lehman College. At Lehman College, they publicized the college's accomplishments, managed crisis communications, and created multimedia content for the college's digital channels.

Additionally, Keisha-Gaye worked as a freelance writer for Black Enterprise Magazine and as a Producer/Editor for Network News Service. Keisha-Gaye also served as a Post Production Associate Producer for Zula/Pearl Films and worked as a Field Producer/Associate Producer for CBS News.

Throughout their career, Keisha-Gaye has demonstrated their skills in communication, management, public relations, writing, and multimedia content creation.

Keisha-Gaye Anderson, MFA pursued their higher education starting from 1992 to 1996 at Syracuse University, where they earned their B.A. degree in Magazine Journalism & African American Studies. Later, from 2006 to 2014, they attended The City College, CUNY, and successfully completed their Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing--Fiction.
