John Lazar

John Lazar is an experienced litigator who has worked at several prestigious law firms, including Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch LLP, where they specialized in complex litigation matters such as securities fraud and contractual disputes. They held senior roles at Burford Capital, overseeing significant business growth and arbitration strategies, and are currently the Managing Director & Head of Litigation Finance at Jefferies. John earned a JD, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School after completing an AB in Classical and Ancient Studies at Duke University.
