Mahnaz Safa

Mahnaz Safa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and governance. Currently serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Jefferies and a Non-Executive Director at UK Government Investments since September 2022, Mahnaz has held various significant roles, including Council Member at Imperial College London and Non-Executive Director at Alternative Credit Investments. Previous positions include Head of Markets for Europe and America at ANZ, Head of EMEA Markets Origination at Citi, and Co-Head of EMEA Debt Capital Markets at UBS Investment Bank. Mahnaz holds a PhD in Engineering from Imperial College London, where studies took place from 1989 to 1992.
