Daniel Forsyth

Daniel Forsyth has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and data science fields. Daniel is currently working as a Lead Clinical Research Data Analyst at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center – Jefferson Health, where they collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tools and applications for clinical, operational, regulatory, and data quality purposes. Daniel previously worked as a Senior Clinical Research Data Analyst, transitioning legacy analytics tools and implementing open-source solutions.

Before joining Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Daniel was a Senior Insights Analyst at Syapse, where they worked on retrospective studies and collaborated with health system partners and life sciences clients to study the impact of COVID-19 on cancer care.

Daniel also has experience at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where they worked as a Data Analyst in the Center for Healthcare Quality and Analytics, building reports and dashboards to track physician compliance and patient follow-up. Daniel also served as a Research Data Scientist and Co-op in the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics, where they developed machine learning classifiers and worked with physiological and social media data.

Earlier in their career, Daniel had roles as a Web Design Intern at Drexel University and an IT Specialist and Web Design Co-op at the University of Pennsylvania, where they worked on website design and content updates.
