Brooke Perry Tolbert is an experienced planning professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Planning Department for Jefferson Parish Government since August 2020. Prior to this role, Brooke worked for the City of New Orleans for six years, where responsibilities included Planning Administrator and Principal Planner, overseeing significant projects such as reforming stormwater management regulations and contributing to the Resilient New Orleans Strategy. Previous roles also include positions with the City of Miami and internships focused on community planning, urban design, and environmental initiatives. Brooke holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism from the University of Florida.
