Faten Ahmad

Faten Ahmad, M. Ed., has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as a Mentor Teacher and Family and Parent Engagement Person within the Jefferson Parish Public School System since July 2013. Faten has taught a variety of subjects including English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Mathematics, and provides support and mentorship to colleagues. Additionally, Faten has held roles such as ELA Content Leader, member of the Superintendent’s Teacher Council, and Primary Years Program Coordinator. As a Professor at Reach University since August 2022, Faten contributes to higher education. Previous roles include positions with Stand for Children and the Louisiana Department of Education, and a solid foundation in early childhood education established through various teaching roles in elementary and kindergarten education. Faten is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at the American College of Education.
