Rajesh Savkur

Rajesh Savkur has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Rajesh started their career as a Post-doctoral Associate at Baylor College of Medicine in 1999. After that, they worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a Post-doctoral Scientist from 2003 to 2006. Rajesh then joined PTC Therapeutics as a Scientist I-II from 2006 to 2012. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Scientist at Jehangir Clinical Development Center since 2013.

Rajesh Savkur completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai in 1991. Rajesh then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biochemistry from the same university, which they completed in 1993. Following this, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center between the years 1993 and 1999. Prior to their higher education, they attended Our Lady of Perpetual Succour (OLPS) High School.
