Adam Painter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Adam started their career at Outokumpu as an IT Support Technician in 2004. In 2007, they joined r2c Online as an IT Support Engineer. From 2008 to 2013, Adam worked at Balfour Beatty plc, where they held various roles, including Service Desk Engineer, Infrastructure Field Engineer, and Infrastructure Operations Engineer. In 2013, they joined Fujitsu as an IT Infrastructure Operations Manager before moving to 2 Sisters Food Group in 2014. At 2 Sisters Food Group, Adam worked as the Group IT Infrastructure Manager and later as an IT Project Manager. Adam'smost recent role has been at JELD-WEN, Inc., where they have served as the Senior IT Project Manager for Europe and currently holds the position of Head of IT PMO for Europe since April 2022.
Adam Painter attended Sandbach School from 1995 to 2002, where they obtained their GCSEs and A Levels. Adam then went on to Sheffield Hallam University from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing (Business Information Systems). In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: Agile Project Management Foundation from APMG International in 2019, Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2018, BCS Certification in Security Management Principles (CISMP) from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2016, BCS Specialist Certificate in Supplier Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2015, ILM Level 2 from EQV (UK) Ltd in 2013, VMware Certified Professional 4 from VMware in 2011, ITIL v3 Foundation in 2008, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician and Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 2005.
