Jorge Eleta

Jorge Eleta has a diverse and extensive work experience in IT project management and leadership roles. Jorge currently holds the position of Senior Director IT PMO at JELD-WEN, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director IT PMO at Diversey, where they were responsible for managing the overall IT spend, implementing project management processes, and overseeing strategic IT programs. Before Diversey, Jorge worked at Atlas Copco, where they served as the Manager PMO/Digital Journey - IT Services and later as the VP Global Project Management Services. In these roles, they supervised project managers, implemented project management offices, and directed global projects. Earlier in their career, Jorge worked at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs innovations as the Senior Manager IT Priorities, Programs, and Projects, and as the IT Regional Manager for the Caribbean & Latin America region. Jorge also served as the IT Director for Saudi Arabia, where they supervised a large IT organization. Prior to Lucent Technologies, Jorge worked at AT&T in various positions, including IT Business Applications Manager - Saudi Arabia and IT Project Manager. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in project management, IT operations, and leadership in global organizations.

Jorge Eleta completed an Executive MBA in International Business at the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 2000-2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electronics and Computer Engineering from George Mason University in 1988-1989. Jorge also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university, obtained in 1986-1989. In 1983-1985, Jorge attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they studied Informatica. Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2015, ITIL V3 Foundation from Hewlett-Packard in 2011, PMP from Project Management Institute in 2005, and ITIL V2 Foundation from Quantum in 2004.
