Jessica Chen

Jessica Chen is a Product Designer at Jelled, responsible for rebranding efforts and managing multiple design projects in a fast-paced start-up environment. Prior experience includes serving as a Product Analytics & Design Intern at Genentech, where Jessica led the redesign of an internal web tool and developed wireframes and prototypes. During a Data Science Internship at Illumina, Jessica conducted feasibility tests and implemented Python pipelines using NLP deep learning models. At NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Jessica performed market analyses for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and collaborated on a deep learning project. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computational Systems & Biology with a Data Science Concentration from UCLA, where Jessica also contributed to research at the Advanced Robotic Eye Surgery Lab and the Ocular Motility Lab, resulting in two publications.
