Kate Racho

Kate Racho is a skilled layout artist currently working at Jellyfish Pictures since April 2023, specializing in feature animation and contributing to technical and creative solutions in Maya. With prior experience at Industrial Light & Magic as a junior layout artist, Kate developed proficiency in matchmove and layout tasks for live-action VFX using proprietary software. Kate has also held a position as a CG generalist at The 119 Studio, delivering a product advertisement within a short timeframe, and began a career as a matchmove artist at Framestore, where keen observational skills were cultivated. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects and Design from Arts University Bournemouth and a Master's degree in Games from Norwich University of the Arts.
