Luca Mazzoleni

Luca Mazzoleni has extensive experience in the animation industry. Luca began their career at Stardust in 2003 as an animator before moving on to Framestore in 2003, where they worked as a senior character animator until 2008. In 2009, they joined Sony Imageworks as a senior animator before transitioning to DNeg in 2010, where they worked as a senior animator until 2012. In the same year, they also had a brief stint at MPC as a senior animator. From 2013 to 2014, they served as an animation director at Blue-Zoo Production, followed by a role as a senior animator and storyboard artist at Studio Aka from 2014 to 2015. Luca then worked as a storyboard artist at Paramount Pictures from 2015 to 2016 before joining WATERSHIP DOWN TELEVISION LTD as a storyboard artist. Finally, since 2016, Luca has been working at Jellyfish Pictures as an Animation Director.

Luca Mazzoleni pursued their education starting in 1982 at ITIS per la Chimica Industriale. Luca completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1986. Later on, from 1989 to 1991, Luca attended CFP animation school and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in animation.
