Mariann Huff

Senior UX Designer - Team Lead at Jenzabar

Mariann Huff has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mariann started their career in 2015 as a Customer Service Representative at Plow & Hearth, where they provided excellent customer service in a fast-paced call center environment. In 2016, they became a Retail Associate, assisting customers in the selection and purchase of merchandise while also managing inventory and merchandising.

In 2018, Mariann worked as a Marketing Intern at Eastern Mennonite University, where they gained insights into marketing strategies. Mariann then moved on to become a Web Development Intern at Plow & Hearth in 2019, where they fixed bugs using HTML and CSS.

Later in 2019, Mariann joined Jenzabar as a UX Design Intern, learning about various aspects of UX design, including prototyping, wireframing, and design systems. Mariann then progressed to become the Senior UX Designer and Team Lead at Jenzabar, taking on a leadership role in September 2019.

Mariann Huff has a Master of Science degree in User Experience Design from Kent State University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Eastern Mennonite University from 2016 to 2019. Their high school education was completed at Madison County High School, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Mariann has completed numerous certifications through LinkedIn, including ones related to wrist and elbow health, establishing evening routines, avoiding burnout, building soft skills, coaching new hires, and various aspects of user experience design and interaction design.
