Amy Burr is president of [JetBlue Technology Ventures](/org/jetblue-technology-ventures) (JTV), the venture capital arm of [JetBlue Airways](/org/jetblue) that invests in and partners with early-stage startups innovating in the travel, hospitality, and transportation industries.

As JTV president, Amy shapes the strategic venture investment direction of JetBlue and facilitates integration of successful startup programs into the airline’s overall corporate innovation initiatives. She has been with JTV since 2018 as the Managing Director of Operations and Partnerships, where she built an ecosystem of partners and deployment opportunities for the many technologies of JTV's portfolio companies.

Amy has been a leader in creating, sourcing, and implementing innovative technology, products and programs in the travel space for more than two decades. She caught the startup bug from joining Virgin America in 2004 as one of the original founders of the company. Amy worked in various roles over her 14-year tenure at the airline in areas of strategy, corporate program leadership, commercial and revenue development, as well as technology areas including e-commerce, reservations systems, and guest products. She ended her time with the company as the Virgin America leader of the merger integration with Alaska Airlines. Amy landed at Virgin America after working at Continental Airlines in revenue management and corporate development.

Amy Burr

As head of revenue and planning, Dave Clark is responsible for all aspects of JetBlue’s network strategy, operational planning and analysis, and sales and revenue management. In addition, he oversees JetBlue’s airline partnership portfolio – currently comprising more than 50 airlines across the globe, including the Northeast Alliance with American Airlines – as well as operational engineering and manpower planning.

Dave was named head of revenue and planning in January 2022. Since joining JetBlue in May 2009, he has led teams across JetBlue’s commercial organization. From February 2017 to December 2021 he served as vice president, sales and revenue management, where he was responsible for revenue optimization, ancillary strategy, distribution, and corporate sales. He has also served as vice president, network planning, and has been a key architect of the airline’s successful network strategy. Before his promotion to vice president in 2014, he led both the route planning and schedule planning teams.

Prior to joining JetBlue, Dave was a project leader in the Boston Consulting Group’s Travel & Tourism practice.

He earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in systems engineering from The University of Virginia as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dave Clark

As head of finance and treasury, Lisa Reifer is also JetBlue’s treasurer and responsible for all aspects of JetBlue’s financial strategy, leading infrastructure properties and development, investor relations, treasury, and risk management, including fuel hedging and insurance.

Lisa was named head of finance and treasury in January 2022. Since joining JetBlue in February 2004, she has led teams across JetBlue’s organization. From May 2017 to January 2022 she served as vice president, infrastructure, properties & development, where she was responsible for managing all of the company’s real estate assets including long-term airport planning and development, design and construction, and facilities planning across 100+ cities. She has also served as director, corporate real estate counsel; director, airport affairs; director, investor relations; and director, commercial development and strategy.

Prior to joining JetBlue, Lisa was an associate at the law firm Shearman & Sterling. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University.

Lisa Reifer

Ciprian has been part of the JetBlue Travel Products leadership team from the start in 2018, and has played a critical role in developing its overall strategy. In his position, he is leading the development of JetBlue Travel Products’ technology that is critical to delivering business growth. This includes JetBlue Vacations as well as the newly launched travel website, Paisly by JetBlue, which makes individually tailored suggestions for travel components such as hotel stays and car rentals.

Ciprian Acatrinei

As CFO, Ursula Hurley is responsible for JetBlue’s overall financial strategy including accounting, audit, aircraft and engine transactions, cash management, corporate finance, fuel, and tax. She is also responsible for the company’s real estate and strategic sourcing units.

Prior to being appointed CFO, Ursula was head of treasury and investor relations for JetBlue, managing the company’s $13 billion balance sheet, comprising corporate and aircraft finance; cash management and investments; fleet management; fuel purchasing and hedging; fleet strategy and programs, strategic sourcing and managing JetBlue’s relationships with the investor community.

Throughout her almost 17-year career in the airline industry, she has also held various roles in financial reporting; financial planning and analysis; and investor relations.

Ursula is president of the JetBlue Foundation whose mission is to promote diversity in STEM education and create career paths for the next generation in aviation. She also sits on the [Fairfield University](/org/fairfield-university) Dolan School of Business Advisory Board.

Ursula Hurley

Clements joined JetBlue with more than a decade at [Southwest Airlines](/org/southwest-airlines), where she led the company-wide technology initiative to enable all commercial and operational capabilities for the carrier’s first-ever international expansion. During her time at [Southwest Airlines](/org/southwest-airlines), Clements also held leadership roles in e-commerce, reservations and loyalty technology, and business intelligence. More recently, Clements served as chief technology officer for [Pizza Hut](/org/pizza-hut). Under her leadership, the [Pizza Hut](/org/pizza-hut) team leveraged technology innovation to drive significant increases in digital and mobile sales, deliver a more frictionless and personalized customer experience, and improve restaurant operating efficiency.

Carol Clements

Laurie Villa is JetBlue’s chief people officer, responsible for engaging JetBlue crewmembers and fostering its unique culture, overseeing teams such as compensation and benefits; diversity, equity and inclusion; crew relations; values and labor relations; recruiting and talent management; and the award-winning JetBlue University.

Prior to joining JetBlue in 2021, Laurie served as senior vice president and chief human resources officer of [Spirit Airlines](/org/spirit-airlines) where she leveraged data and analytics to improve the employee and guest experience, strengthen culture and engagement, and grow their talent pipeline. Laurie also focused heavily on targeted investments in internal talent and strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion within the airline and served as president of the [Spirit Airlines](/org/spirit-airlines) Charitable Foundation.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Villa has shaped effective people and talent strategies to support long-term business objectives in a number of industries, including consumer goods, specialty retail, education, and technology.

Ellen Jewett is the current Director at [JetBlue Airways](/org/jetblue). Ellen has held various other positions in the past, such as President of the Board of Trustees at The Brearley School, and Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets. Ellen started their career at Goldman, Sachs & Co in 1986 and worked their way up to Public Sector & Infrastructure Banking. In this role, they managed the Public Sector Transportation Group.

B. was with [Spirit Airlines](/org/spirit-airlines) from January 2005 to January 2016 and was their CEO and President. B. is credited with defining the ULCC (Ultra-Low Cost Carrier) sector in the Americas and trades under the NASDAQ ticker "SAVE". B. led the airline through a complete transformation of its business model and through its IPO. 

From August 1999 to January 2005, Baldanza was with US Airways (now [American Airlines](/org/american-airlines)) as their Senior VP Marketing and International. B. led the Marketing, Planning, Pricing, and International divisions of US Airways through 9/11 and the company’s first bankruptcy, prior to their merger with America West Airlines. 

Baldanza has also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer with TACA from February 1997 to August 1999, Executive VP Marketing with Continental Airlines from August 1994 to December 1996, Director with UPS from August 1993 to August 1994, and Director Finance and Revenue Management with Northwest Airlines from January 1991 to August 1993.

Renée Anckner is currently the VP and Associate General Counsel at [JetBlue Airways](/org/jetblue). Renée was previously a partner at McCarter & English, LLP from January 2008 to July 2017, where they worked as a commercial real estate and product liability litigator. Prior to that, they were an associate at EAPD Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP from August 2001 to January 2008, where they worked on bankruptcy, securities, finance transactions, and commercial litigation, as well as class action litigation. Before that, they were an intern at Federal Deposit from June 2000 to August 2000, where they were responsible for interpreting and writing opinion letters relative to federal banking regulations and statutes.

Renée Anckner earned their J.D., Magna Cum Laude from Suffolk University Law School and their B.A. from [Stony Brook University](/org/stony-brook-university). Renée is currently a practicing lawyer.

In this role, Lusso will oversee the execution of the company’s network strategy through route planning and schedule planning. He joined JetBlue in 2012 and has held various roles in marketing and route planning, and his expertise has helped maximize both revenue and operational efficiency. Andrea Lusso

In this role, Fintzen is responsible for the company’s relationship with its owners and prospective owners and informing key stakeholders of JetBlue’s financial position and strategy. Tracy Lawlor is chief strategy and business development officer for JetBlue.

In her role, Lawlor is responsible for developing enterprise strategy and leading the airline-wide, long-term business planning process that positions JetBlue to achieve its financial, operational, customer and culture goals. Additionally, she is responsible for driving enhanced earnings by extending and building on the strong JetBlue brand through several strategic development initiatives.

Lawlor joined JetBlue in 2001 as a senior financial analyst and has held a number of finance leadership roles, culminating as vice president, financial planning and analysis. She is also the chair of the board of JSX, an innovative, independent regional airline based in Dallas.

Prior to joining JetBlue, Lawlor worked in the corporate offices of The TJX Companies, Inc., parent of T.J. Maxx, [Marshalls](/org/marshalls) and HomeGoods.

Joanna Geraghty is president & chief operating officer of JetBlue, responsible for the airline’s safety, operations and commercial performance including network, brand and marketing and revenue management.

Joanna’s focus is on delivering a leading and safe customer service experience, and enhancing operational and commercial performance while nurturing JetBlue’s unique culture and standing as one of the best places to work.

Prior to being named president & COO, she served as JetBlue’s executive vice president, customer experience, responsible for airports, customer support, and inflight service. She served as executive vice president, chief people officer from 2010-2014, after serving as vice president, associate general counsel and director, litigation and regulatory affairs. Joanna has been with JetBlue airline since 2005.

Joanna is board director of the JetBlue Foundation and chairperson of the board of [Concern Worldwide](/org/concern-worldwide), an international not-for-profit. Before joining JetBlue, she was a partner at the law firm [Holland & Knight](/org/holland-knight-llp).

Joanna Geraghty

Andres Barry is president of JetBlue Travel Products, a subsidiary of [JetBlue Airways](/org/jetblue), created to extend the airline’s reach further into the travel ribbon and provide customers with a more seamless experience.

In his role, Andres leads the growth of the JetBlue Vacations brand and other non-air travel products including travel insurance, cruises, car rentals and more.

Prior to joining JetBlue Travel Products in 2018, Andres was partner and managing director at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global management strategy consulting firm. During his time at BCG, he primarily worked in the travel and tourism sector, focusing on commercial growth and digital innovation for leading brands in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to BCG, he held several sales and operations management roles.

Andres Barry

Brandon Nelson is general counsel and corporate secretary at JetBlue, with responsibility for legal, compliance, ESG and sustainability, and cybersecurity at the growing airline.

Nelson joined JetBlue in 2005 and has held a number of leadership roles within the legal team. His diverse experience includes leading a team of transactional lawyers who represent the company in commercial, marketing, real estate, business development, intellectual property and technology matters.

He also serves on the investment committee of the company’s wholly owned corporate venture capital arm, [JetBlue Technology Ventures](/org/jetblue-technology-ventures).

Prior to JetBlue, Brandon practiced corporate and business litigation law at firms in California and New York, most recently at Shearman & Sterling.

Brandon Nelson

Rob Land joined JetBlue in 1998 as a founding crewmember and currently serves as head of government affairs and associate general counsel. He is based in JetBlue’s Washington, D.C. office.

Rob is responsible for the company’s relations with the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. government as well as state and local governing bodies and international government relations. He also oversees the company’s aircraft delivery team; airport affairs; shares primary legal responsibility for regulatory matters; and is a member of JetBlue’s senior leadership team.

Prior to JetBlue, Rob worked in the Office of the Secretary of Transportation on aviation policy; as Chief of Staff at the Federal Railroad Administration; and on the White House staff for Vice President Gore. Before his government service career, Rob worked as an attorney at the firm of Proskauer Rose. In addition, Rob served as Legislative Consultant to President Clinton’s blue ribbon panel, The National Commission to Ensure a Strong Competitive Airline Industry.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from [Skidmore College](/org/skidmore-college) and a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at [American University](/org/american-university). He is a member of the bar of New York, the District of Columbia, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Robert Land

Robin Hayes is chief executive officer of JetBlue Airways Corp., which encompasses JetBlue – New York’s Hometown Airline® – as well as subsidiaries [JetBlue Technology Ventures](/org/jetblue-technology-ventures) and JetBlue Travel Products.

He joined JetBlue in 2008 and served as the company’s executive vice president, chief commercial officer until becoming president of the airline in January 2014. In February 2015, he was named JetBlue’s third chief executive officer.

Prior to joining JetBlue, Robin was executive vice president for the Americas at [British Airways](/org/british-airways). Over the span of a wide-ranging 19-year career with BA, he also served as area general manager for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Robin Hayes

John joined JetBlue with more than 25 years of experience in software engineering and product architecture. Most recently, he served as vice president of engineering at the steaming service Discovery+ where he oversaw a global multi-cloud platform organization responsible for digital content delivery. Previously, he has led world-class engineering and product teams for Netflix, [Capital One](/org/capital-one) and more.

John Swift

Nik Mittal is the current Director at [JetBlue Airways](/org/jetblue). Prior to this, they were a Senior Fellow at the [Environmental Defense Fund](/org/environmental-defense-fund), where they worked on climate innovation and policy. Nik has also been an adjunct professor of finance at NYU Stern School of Business and a partner at [JANA Partners LLC](/org/jana-partners-llc). Nik Mittal began their career as an investment banking associate at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Nik Mittal graduated from the [University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill](/org/university-of-north-carolina-at-chapel-hill) with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Nik Mittal

Ed Baklor is JetBlue’s head of customer care and programs, with oversight of the airline’s award-winning inflight and customer contact center teams, as well as customer experience leading JetBlue’s innovative digital and hospitality programs. He also maintains day-to-day leadership of inflight operations, catering operations, Mint and core onboard experiences, inflight performance, and crewmember engagement.

Prior to being named head of customer care and programs in 2021, he served as JetBlue’s vice president of inflight experience for nearly three years.

Ed’s career has been shaped by a lifelong passion for service excellence and hospitality. Prior to joining JetBlue, he was chief commercial officer for the LaGuardia Gateway Partners where he focused on transforming the commercial and guest experience at LaGuardia Airport’s Central Terminal B. He also led guest experience at WestJet, Canada’s award-winning international airline. Ed spent 14 years with The Walt Disney Company in various executive roles and launched Disney's group guided family vacations, Adventures by Disney.

Jayne O’Brien is JetBlue’s Head of Marketing and Loyalty, responsible for the airline’s brand, marketing and advertising, e-commerce, TrueBlue® loyalty program, as well as its highly awarded onboard product. 

O’Brien joined JetBlue in 2020 bringing a wealth of global travel and marketing experience to the airline. She previously served as senior vice president of global brands at Intercontinental Hotel Group; managing director, USA for Scenic – Luxury Cruises & Tours; and chief marketing officer for Dubai Properties Group, part of Dubai Holding.

Her professional background also includes extensive airline industry experience from her 18-year career with British Airways in a number of operations and marketing leadership positions in the Americas and Europe, culminating in the role of Head of Global Brand & UK Marketing.

She is a graduate of the University of London.

Jayne O'Brien

Warren Christie is JetBlue’s head of safety, security and fleet operations, and oversees the airline’s ground and flight safety programs, security initiatives and flight and technical operations (maintenance).

His aviation career spans over 30 years. In 1988 he was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy where he piloting the F/A-18 Hornet. He served as a Naval Aviator and instructed at the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) where he led staff and student training and was responsible for the design of the graduate level strike-fighter tactics training curriculum.

Warren joined JetBlue in 2003 and has served in various positions including senior vice president, regulatory and training; vice president, operations planning and training; and vice president, JetBlue University.

He graduated from the [University of Notre Dame](/org/university-of-notre-dame) with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Warren Christie

Previously, Lewless spent 20 years working in human resources roles, including almost a decade at [Horizon Air](/org/horizon-air) where he led human resources, as well as labor and employee relations for the airline.

Christopher Lewless

Since 2013, Mendelsohn has helped JetBlue design and implement policies and practices that enhance the company’s competitive advantage and reduce environmental impact. Most recently, she led the efforts to offset carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) from jet fuel for all domestic JetBlue flights beginning in July 2020. In this new role, she will expand her responsibilities to include JetBlue’s diversity and inclusion efforts and work toward increased representation and inclusion in all areas of the business. Mendelsohn will continue reporting to Brandon Nelson, JetBlue’s general counsel and corporate secretary. Mendelsohn is a graduate of [Brandeis University](/org/brandeis-university) and also holds Master of Science in Sustainability Management from [Columbia University](/org/columbia-university).

Sophia Mendelsohn

Allen is responsible for managing all matters related to compliance with securities laws, public company corporate governance, corporate compliance, executive compensation and subsidiary management. Huang joined JetBlue with over 20 years of experience, nine of which was in the aviation industry, working for Virgin America Inc. Allen specializes in working with high-growth companies and plans to put his extensive corporate governance knowledge to immediate use.

Monte Ford is the current director at [JetBlue Airways](/org/jetblue), and they have also held high-ranking positions at other major companies. Monte was the Chief Executive Officer at [Aptean](/org/aptean) from April 2012 to April 2013, where they were responsible for conducting several acquisitions and merging the firm with another global software and service provider. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Officer at [American Airlines](/org/american-airlines) from December 2000 to January 2012. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the company’s Information Technology, Operations Research and Business Analytics functions. Monte is very notably credited with transforming the airline to an advanced online and interactive digital state. Monte Ford has a long and successful history in the business world, and they are an expert in the field of information technology.

oug McGraw is JetBlue’s chief communication officer, overseeing the company’s internal and external communications strategy, including Crewmember communications, media relations, reputation management, leader engagement, and business communications. 

Doug joined JetBlue in 2014 as director, corporate communications, leading media relations and external communications, and in 2016, he assumed responsibility for the airline’s frontline crewmember operational communications. In 2018, he was promoted to vice president, corporate communications.

Prior to JetBlue, Doug spent 15 years at [FleishmanHillard](/org/fleishmanhillard), where he most recently served as senior vice president and partner in the New York office counseling a range of clients and sectors.

He is a graduate of St. Louis University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications.

Doug McGraw

Sharma has extensive experience in building and growing businesses profitably through the application of digital technology. He is the CEO and founder of InStride, a strategic enterprise education company that enables employers to provide career-boosting degrees, certificates and credentials to their employees through leading global universities. He previously served as Senior Vice President of eCommerce and Digital Guest Experience at [The Walt Disney Company](/org/disney).

Sharma is also an adjunct professor of data science at the [University of Southern California](/org/university-of-southern-california)’s Marshall School of Business, where he teaches business innovation to graduate students. He graduated from the [Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi](/org/indian-institute-of-technology-delhi), and holds an MBA from [INSEAD](/org/insead), France.
