Mischa Spiegelmock has been in the software engineering industry for over 19 years. From 2001 to 2005, they were a volunteer at the Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley. In 2005, they became a Software Engineer at Six Apart, where they were responsible for maintaining and improving front- and back-end APIs and features. In 2007, they worked as a Software Engineer at Peanut Labs. In 2008, they were a Contract Software Engineer at Lexy, where they were the primary engineer for a sophisticated VOIP platform, responsible for implementing a custom IVR and audio content syndicator. In 2008, they were also a Contract Software Engineer at Grantsfire. In 2009, they co-founded DoctorBase and served as its CTO, developing a world-class medical software platform used by thousands of paying customers. In 2014, they volunteered teaching a free introduction to programming course for all ages in Oakland at the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment. In 2015, they became Principal Software Engineer, DoctorBase Platform at Kareo. In 2017, they became Co-Founder at JetBridge Software, managing engineering quality and development processes for a diverse array of clients and mentoring developers in cutting-edge software development tools, techniques, and best practices.
Mischa Spiegelmock attended the University of San Francisco from 2005 to 2007, studying Computer Science. In August 2019, Mischa obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
