Anna Kwaśniewska

Anna Kwa is a skilled research engineer at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2) since September 2021, bringing extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Previously, Anna served as a machine learning scientist at Vulcan Inc. and as an applied scientist at Zillow. Anna's foundational experience includes a fellowship at Insight Data Science, where a Flask web app was developed to enhance clothing color palettes and an image processing pipeline was created for training a regression model using over 17,000 fashion images. Anna's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from UC Irvine, where research focused on dark matter models and gamma-ray data analysis, along with teaching experience in Python and predictive modeling for various educational initiatives.
