Oliver Nieburg

Oliver Nieburg is an accomplished editorial and programme consultant with extensive experience in Africa's private sector and financial events, currently serving as an Editorial Consultant for THE AFRICA CEO FORUM and Jeune Afrique since June 2021, and as Editorial & Programme Lead for the AFRICA FINANCIAL INDUSTRY SUMMIT since March 2022. Oliver Nieburg has developed programmes and produced insights articles on critical issues in African finance, while also collaborating with the World Bank's International Finance Corporation to promote financial inclusion. Prior to these roles, Oliver Nieburg worked as a Sustainable Food & Drink Analyst at Lumina Intelligence, where reports focused on deforestation and poverty alleviation, and held various editorial positions at William Reed Ltd, leading the editorial department for online food publications. Education includes a Master of Arts in Newspaper Journalism from City St George’s, University of London and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sussex.
