Lawrence Mortensen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Lawrence began their career at The Jobsite as a Bartender in 1987 and later worked as a Receptionist/Lab Assistant at Clinical Laboratory Services (CLS) from 1988 to 1990. Lawrence then served as a Manager at Pasqua Coffee Inc. from 1991 to 1997. Following this, they worked as an Office Manager at William Gravitt Property Management from 1997 to 1999. Lawrence then joined United Artist Theatre as an Assistant Manager and later moved on to UCSF Positive Health Program, where they served as an Administrative Assistant II Supervisor from 2000 to 2012. Lawrence Mortensen also gained experience at Starbucks as a Barista/Coffee Master from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they work as a Customer Service Lead at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco since 2016.
Lawrence Mortensen has a diverse education history. In 2015, they obtained a Coffee Master Certified degree from Starbucks Coffee Inc., where they focused on course work in coffee regions and flavor characteristics. In 2002, they attended Skill Path for business writing and supervisory management. In 1992, they completed course work in coffee roasting and preparation at Pasqua Coffee, Inc. Lastly, between 1979 and 1983, Lawrence attended El Molino High School.
