Jay Katelman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jay most recently worked as the Director of Community Development at the Jewish Federation of Omaha, where they were responsible for maintaining and growing corporate partnerships, serving as the Israel Partnership liaison, and managing Israel and Overseas allocations. Prior to this role, they were a Community Business Leader at the same organization.

Before joining the Jewish Federation of Omaha, Jay worked at CommScope as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, they worked with major accounts such as Google, Wells Fargo, and Graybar. Jay also conducted training on a Master Data Governance initiative and trained other employees on accounts.

Jay also has experience at other companies such as Lozier Corporation, ConAgra Foods, Aureus Group, DailyMav, Boulder Creek Amusement Park, TD Ameritrade, and Bag 'N Save. Their roles in these organizations encompassed responsibilities such as account coordination, customer supply chain management, verification specialist, director of business development, general manager, investor services intern, and courtesy clerk.

Jay Katelman attended Westside High School from 2006 to 2009. Jay then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2009 to 2013. Later, from 2019 to 2021, Jay earned a Masters of Organizational Leadership degree from Creighton University. In addition, they also obtained a Leadership in Sports Certificate from Creighton University from 2020 to 2021.
