Mindy Hanken

Mindy Hanken has a strong background in leadership and program development. Mindy served as the Chief Program Officer & VP Mandel Center for Leadership Development at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County starting in 2016. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Hanken Consulting Services from 2015 to 2017. From 2008 to 2015, Mindy was the Chief Executive Officer and later the Chief Operating Officer of Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches, where they managed a significant budget and supervised multiple departments. Mindy also has experience as the Jewish Teen Initiative Director at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and as the Teen Director at JCC MetroWest. In these roles, they successfully developed new programs and initiatives, increased budgets, and oversaw staff and department budgets. Overall, Mindy brings a wealth of experience in leadership, program development, and budget management.

Mindy Hanken has a diverse education history. Mindy obtained their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Rutgers University from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Family & Community Studies and Jewish Studies from the University of Delaware between 1994 and 1998. Their high school education was completed at Hightstown High School from 1990 to 1994. Mindy also holds several additional certifications, including a Certificate in Management Excellence from Yale University's School of Management, which they obtained in June 2019. In the same month and year, they also received a Certificate in NonProfit Board Education from BoardSource. Furthermore, in February 2019, they obtained a certification in Safe and Respectful Workplaces from Ta'amod.
