Harriet Schleifer serves as a Member of the Board of Governors for the American Jewish Committee since 2004 and holds the position of Secretary at The Jewish Museum since July 2019. In June 2022, Harriet Schleifer became Chair-Elect of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and has been a Member of the Board of Trustees at Cornell University since June 2021. Additionally, Harriet Schleifer is part of the Executive Committee at the Chapel Haven Schleifer Center, a role held since January 2018, and previously acted as President of AJC from June 2019 to July 2022 and President of Bet Torah from July 2012 to June 2014. Experience also includes serving as an Educational Advocate for Student Advocacy, Inc. from October 1999 to February 2010. Educational qualifications encompass a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from St. John's University, multiple degrees in education from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University.
