Alex Cheong

Alex Cheong has a diverse work experience in writing and content creation. From 2019 to the present, Alex worked as a Senior Content Writer at Jirnexu, where they primarily focused on producing SEO-friendly articles related to personal finance topics and creating tailored content for various clients, including banks and notable institutions like Bank Negara Malaysia and the Employees Provident Fund. They also handled social media postings and collaborated with the marketing and design teams to create content for social media.

Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, Alex worked at William Harald-Wong & Associates as a Writer/Copywriter/Researcher, where they were responsible for producing copywriting for marketing collateral, brainstorming campaigns for branding efforts, and creating brand guidelines for clients. They also assisted with project coordination and edited and organized the company website.

Before that, from 2014 to 2016, Alex worked as a Writer at GTI Media Asia, and from 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Editor at SAP Publishing (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Alex Cheong completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in English Language from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. This took place from 2006 to 2010. Following that, Alex pursued a Master's degree in World Literature from Universiti Putra Malaysia, which was completed from 2012 to 2014.
