Will Allen

Will Allen has held several roles throughout their work experience. Will started their career at Newcastle University as a Research Associate from September 2001 to July 2005. Will then joined Jisc Netskills, where they worked as a Consultant Trainer from July 2005 to December 2012. Their responsibilities included training staff and students, delivering online training, web development, researching innovative uses of technology in Higher Education, and dissemination and synthesis of information. From January 2013 to December 2014, they served as a Service Manager at Jisc Netskills. Will is currently working at Jisc, where they started as the Head of Jisc North in January 2015 and later became the Deputy Director of engagement and major accounts in October 2016. Specific dates for their current role are not provided.

Will Allen earned their BSc in English Language and Linguistic Science from the University of York from 1994 to 1998. Will then pursued a PhD in Sociophonetics from Newcastle University from 1998 to 2003.
