Jon Sigmon

Jon Sigmon has a diverse professional background in information technology (IT) and leadership roles.

Their most recent position was as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for J&J Snack Foods Corp, starting in February 2023.

Prior to that, Jon served as an Executive Council Member at the CIO Professional Network™ starting in October 2022.

From September 2021 to February 2023, Jon held the role of Vice President of Information Technology at Carlisle Companies Incorporated. In this position, they were responsible for datacenter, network, and security operations for all of Carlisle Companies, as well as the business systems operations of Carlisle's Construction Materials (CCM) segment in North America and Europe.

Before joining Carlisle Companies Incorporated, Jon spent several years at Carlisle Construction Materials, starting in December 2012. During their tenure, they held various positions, including Vice President of Information Technology and Director of IT. Jon was responsible for SAP manufacturing project leading and overseeing the company's IT, industrial engineering, sales engineering, customer service, production planning, and logistics.

Jon's experience also includes leadership roles at Schindler Elevator and Schindler Elevator Corporation. From January 2010 to February 2012, they served as the Division Leader-IT, Distribution Center, Engineering, and Logistics at Schindler Elevator, where they managed various functions including manufacturing IT, industrial engineering, sales engineering, and logistics. Jon achieved notable accomplishments such as implementing a new elevator logistics warehousing network and increasing engineering productivity by 50%.

During their time at Schindler Elevator Corporation, from January 2006 to February 2012, Jon held positions such as Division Leader and Division Leader – Engineering and Customer Service. Jon was responsible for managing manufacturing IT, applications engineering, customer service, production planning, and logistics. Jon led projects that reduced elevator lead times and increased engineering productivity.

Prior to their tenure at Schindler Elevator Corporation, Jon worked as a Systems Analyst/Project Leader and Electrical Engineer. In these roles, they managed IT projects and supported various IT systems.

Outside of their IT career, Jon also served as the Treasurer at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church from January 1998 to December 2001. Jon managed the church's budget and financial assets, implementing a new financial/payroll system.

Overall, Jon Sigmon has a wealth of experience in IT leadership, particularly in the areas of datacenter operations, network management, security, business systems operations, industrial engineering, sales engineering, customer service, production planning, and logistics.

Jon Sigmon completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University from 1991 to 1993. Jon then attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2001. In 1986 to 1989, they completed their high school education at Newton Conover High School. Currently, Jon Sigmon is pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Lebanon Valley College from 2021 to 2023.
