Johnny Villanueva Chávarry

Johnny Villanueva Chávarry has extensive experience in project management within the construction and engineering sectors, holding key positions at Grupo JJC since April 2010. As Gerente Corporativo de Proyectos and Gerente de División de Energía y Minería, notable projects include overseeing the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) for the ANTAMINA logistics infrastructure expansion, managing civil works and assembly for the MINERA VOLCAN Oxides Plant, leading the development of the new city of Morococha for MINERA CHINALCO, and supervising the construction of the Laja Hydro Electric Power Plant in Chile for GDF SUEZ. Prior experience as Gerente de Obra included significant civil and structural projects for MINERA El Brocal. Academically, Johnny holds a Master's degree in Construction and Real Estate Business Administration from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Civil Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
