Yong-Gil Son has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Yong-Gil started their career in 2013 with Samsung C&T, Engineering & Construction Group, where they worked as a Fuel Trader until 2016. In 2016, they joined Apeiron Bioenergy as a Fuel Trader and continued in that role until 2017. Yong-Gil then co-founded ICO Oxygen in 2017 and served as a Co-Founder until 2018. In 2019, they worked as an MBA Summer Associate, Product Strategy, at Fiserv for a few months. Later in 2019, they co-founded a Stealth Startup and continued in that role until 2020. In 2020, Yong-Gil worked as a Product Manager at The Economic Club of New York for a few months before joining JJELLYFISH as part of their Strategy & Operations team.
Yong-Gil Son completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specializations in Tech Product Management and Business Analytics from NYU Stern School of Business between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Business Administration from Seoul National University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics. In terms of certifications, they obtained the "SQL Essential Training" certification from LinkedIn in May 2020, the "Customer Development for Product Managers" certification from Lynda.com in June 2019, and the "Advanced Google Analytics" certification from Google in April 2020.
