Christopher Holewski

Creative Director, UX at JK Design

Christopher Holewski began their career in 2007 as a Senior Art Director at New World Group, Inc, where they were responsible for print production for posters and merchandise for various record labels, as well as the design of brochures and marketing materials for luxury rentals in NYC. In 2010 they moved on to become Director of Film & Animation at The Life Christian Church, where they were responsible for branding & design for bi-monthly sermon series and producing bi-weekly creative videos to support the Pastor's sermon. In 2011, Christopher became Owner of Manual Designs, where they designed and created hand-made stencil prints of classic cars, created and managed a successful online store using Big Cartel, and conducted successful marketing via advertising on and offline. In 2012, Christopher accepted a position as Senior Art Director at Joe Zeff Design, where they worked with a small team to design and build iPad and iPhone apps for various organizations, managed, designed and produced a monthly kids iPad magazine, and created animated/film sizzle reels for all apps produced. In 2013, Christopher took on the role of Product/UX/UI Lead at SchoolKeep, Inc., where they lead a product team of 5 developers and 2 designers to design and develop an online platform, researched needs of customers, conducted weekly user testing sessions, and continually analyzed competitor's offerings. Finally, in 2015 Christopher joined JK Design as Creative Director, UX, and later Associate Creative Director and Art Director. In this role, they lead audience research, information architecture development, UX and UI design for websites and applications, as well as brand development projects and employer branding projects.

Christopher Holewski attended Montclair State University from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. In 2013, they took a course at General Assembly in Digital Marketing. The following year, they took a course in Front End Web Development at General Assembly.
