Maggie Fea has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Maggie recently joined JKS Restaurants in 2022 as the Head of HR, where they oversee a team of over 1,000 members and fosters a culture of culinary innovation and hospitality. Prior to this, they worked as a Group Fitness Instructor at Les Mills International, specializing in high-intensity interval training and indoor cycling. Maggie also served as the Human Resources Manager at Gibbston Valley, playing a key role in the winery's events, tours, and restaurant experiences. Before that, Maggie worked as a Human Resource Consultant at Findex, providing tailored HR advice to clients. During their university holidays, they worked at Skyline Enterprises as a Luge Operator and Gondola Photos Supervisor. Additionally, they have experience as a Snowboard Instructor at NZSki Ltd and as a Retail Assistant at Aelia Duty Free. Maggie began their career in the hospitality industry as a Waitress and Bartender at Hilton Worldwide.
Maggie Fea obtained a Diploma for Graduates (DipGrad) in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Otago in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology & Marketing from the same university, where they attended from 2012 to 2014. Maggie also holds various additional certifications, including Interpretation Accreditation from OPRA Psychology Group in 2018, Level 2 Certified Practitioner from Extended DISC in 2016, Barista Certificate and Liquor Licence Control Certificate from the Southern Institute of Technology in 2011, and a Level One Snowboard Instructors Certificate from SBINZ - Snowboard Instruction New Zealand in 2010.
