Gerhard Mohr

Gerhard J. Mohr, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at Joanneum Research since June 2012, specializing in optical sensors for anions, a field in which Gerhard earned their doctorate in chemistry from Karl-Franzens University Graz. Prior to this role, Gerhard Mohr served as the Head of the Workgroup Sensor Materials at Fraunhofer EMFT from August 2009 to June 2012, and held prestigious positions as a Marie Curie and Heisenberg fellow at the University of Jena from 2001 to 2009, as well as a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich from 1996 to 2001. Gerhard Mohr completed a Diploma and Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Graz between 1993 and 1996.
