Thomas Zimmer

Thomas Zimmer has worked in the software development field since 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Software Developer for Ingenious Minds and ISA FH Trier. During this time, they also worked as Lead Developer AntiCheat and Softwareentwickler for ESL - Turtle Entertainment. In 2018, they began working as a Senior Backend Developer for JOB TODAY, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining microservices using Spring, Kotlin, Groovy and Python. Additionally, they partially worked as DevSecOps, automating processes and improving the infrastructure running on AWS in respect to Cybersecurity.

Thomas Zimmer obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Information Technology from Fachhochschule Trier between 2003 and 2007. Thomas also holds seven certifications from Coursera, including Cyber Attack Countermeasures and Introduction to Cyber Attacks (obtained in February 2019), Real-Time Cyber Threat Detection and Mitigation (obtained in January 2019), Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals (obtained in April 2018), Machine Learning (obtained in March 2018), Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark (obtained in February 2018), and Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine (obtained in February 2018).
