Tom Dyson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.
Tom started their career in 2002 as a Circulation Assistant at The Economist in Paris. Tom then worked at IBM in Paris as an Internet Ad Tracking - Surfaid Product Expert for a short period.
In 2004, Tom joined Facilities Management Catering Limited as an Area Manager for Champagne & Pimms. Later that year, they transitioned to Adstream UK Ltd. where they took on various roles, including Graduate Trainee, Sales Operations Manager, Business Operations Manager, and Implementation Manager.
In 2009, Tom joined Leo Burnett London as an Independent Consultant for a brief period. Tom then returned to Adstream, this time in Sydney, Australia, where they worked as a Senior Implementation Manager and later as a Product Manager for the Adstream Platform in the AU/NZ market.
Tom's most recent position is at JobAdder, where they held the role of Lead Product Manager before being promoted to Head of Product in October 2019. In their role at JobAdder, Tom focused on modernizing their recruitment software platform and mentored a team of Product Managers, leading to a significant increase in the monthly active user base.
Tom Dyson began their education in 1997 at The British School of Paris, where they pursued A Levels in Geography, Business Studies, and French until 1999. From 1999 to 2003, they attended The University of Manchester, where they studied Management & Marketing, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In 2013, they furthered their education at General Assembly Australia, specializing in Front End Web Development & Product Management. Additionally, Tom has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2012, they received a certification in Prince 2 Foundation from APMG-AUSTRALASIA LIMITED. More recently, in 2021, they obtained certifications in Agency Admin and Getting Started from JobAdder.
