Andrea Ceroni

Andrea Ceroni has worked in the field of data science since 2013. In that year, they began their role as a Research Associate at the L3S Research Center, where they developed approaches based on Machine Learning in the areas of Information Retrieval, Web Data Mining and Multimedia Retrieval. Andrea also had experience in the different phases of Machine Learning pipelines, from data preprocessing to model evaluation and deployment, and was the lead of the development of a research prototype within an EU-funded project. In 2018, they began their role as a Data Scientist at Siemens. In 2019, they moved to SmartRecruiters, where they worked as both a Senior Data Scientist and a Data Scientist. Currently, they are the Head of Data Science at Joblift.

Andrea Ceroni obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Genoa in 2010, followed by a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the same university in 2012. In 2013, Ceroni earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
