Sebastián Ariel Bevacqua

Sebastián Ariel Bevacqua has been working in the software development industry since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant in Augmented Reality Technologies at Universidad Nacional de La Matanza, where they developed mobile applications for Android with Unity3D, Android SDK and Vuforia, as well as web apps with the Spring IO platform, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Freelance Software Developer. In 2015, they began working at Quadion Technologies as a Software Developer. In 2017, they began working at Despegar.com as a Sr Software Developer, where they developed front-end and back-end applications related to online marketing with Java, nodeJS and Vue.js, using Apache Kafka, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, AWS, Hadoop and Hive. In 2019, they returned to their freelance work as a Software Developer, developing full-stack applications with Java, Spring Framework, nodeJS, and Vue.js. Currently, they are working as a Backend Engineer at Joblift, where they are responsible for the design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring of the backend services for the Job Inventory Management and Elevate team. Sebastián Ariel's technology stack includes GCP as IaaS, Java microservices with Spring and Dropwizard, REST, GraphQL, JUnit, Mockito, TestContainers for Testing, Apache Kafka, Avro, PostgreSQL, BigTable, BigQuery, Stripe SDK, Firebase SDK, GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana for Monitoring.

Sebastián Ariel Bevacqua obtained their High School Diploma in Art, Design and Communication from Escuela República Argentina between 1997 and 2008. Sebastián Ariel then went on to obtain an Information Technology Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional de La Matanza between 2009 and 2017.
