Composite Manufacturing Engineer at Joby Aviation

Andrew Regan has a diverse range of work experience. Andrew started their career as a GT Summer Sessions Student Intern at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020. Andrew then worked as a Seasonal Groundskeeper at Cape Cod Gateway Airport in 2021. Andrew also took on leadership roles at Georgia Tech Experimental Rocketry, serving as the Treasurer from August 2020 to June 2021, and as the Aerostructures Lead from July 2021 to July 2022. In 2022, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Robotic Research, where they designed and coordinated the manufacturing of parts for autonomous systems. Finally, Andrew joined Joby Aviation in 2023 as a Composite Manufacturing Engineer.

Andrew Regan completed their high school education at the Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District from 2015 to 2019, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on Engineering Technology, General. During their time there, they also obtained additional certifications including OSHA 10 Hour General Industry in March 2016 and OSHA 30 Hour Construction in December 2018.

Currently, Andrew is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, starting in 2019 and expected to graduate in 2023.
